Jack Grealish Tops Manchester City’s Exit List As Pep Guardiola Prepares To Mercilessly Axe Eight Talents

Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola is set to authorize a summer clearout of eight senior players, including former Aston Villa sensation Jack Grealish.

City have had a tumultuous season, falling severely behind in the Premier League championship chase and exiting the Champions League at the play-off round after a 6-3 aggregate defeat to Real Madrid.

A number of Guardiola’s players have underperformed this season, and the Spaniard will try to cash in on a few of them as he attempts to revamp his aging roster and bring in a new era.

Grealish is anticipated to be one of City’s first signings this summer, having struggled to break into Guardiola’s team in recent seasons. The former Villa player, who cost the club £100 million in 2021, has made only six Premier League starts this season.According To SkySport.

The England star is one among ten City players who will be 30 or older by the end of the year, with many nearing the end of their prime.

Alongside Grealish, City are expected to listen to offers for Kevin de Bruyne, Bernardo Silva, John Stones, Mateo Kovacic, Ilkay Gundogan, Ederson and Kyle Walker.
