Jadon Sancho’s dig at Manchester United “reeks of toxicity” after he openly supported Marcus Rashford’s exit, praising the Chelsea loanee for finding “freedom” after departing.
Rashford had been benched for over two months before returning to the pitch on Sunday evening for his new side.
He was left out of Ruben Amorim’s game preparations for weeks before securing a move away from Old Trafford. He issued a social media shoutout to his new admirers, and Sancho responded with a one-word bombshell: “Freedom”.
Sancho, who is on loan at Chelsea, is still on the United squad, but his apparent hatred for the Red Devils was clear.

The winger, like Rashford, was sidelined from first-team action, but ex-United keeper Ben Foster slammed Sancho’s public display as a poor reflection on his former club.
On his podcast, Ben Foster – The Cycling GK, the goalie exclaimed, “What is he doing?” That’s ridiculous because he and Marcus Rashford are still employed by Manchester United. It just reeks of toxicity at United.
“It reeks of an unhappy place to be, that everybody’s buzzing for someone to get out [of the club].”
Sancho also enraged former manager Erik ten Hag by releasing reactions to his comments online, resulting in a months-long absence before a brief loan spell at Borussia Dortmund, according to the Mirror.
He returned in the summer, and it was claimed that he and Ten Hag had worked out their disagreements as he participated in pre-season. Sancho, on the other hand, was able to win a move to Chelsea, where he will eventually become a permanent player.
Rashford was dropped for the Manchester Derby in December and never returned to the team. His attitude has previously been questioned him.
