Joel Obi reveals Torino players try to “wind up” Joe Hart by playing as Man City on PlayStation

Torino‘s Joel Obi has revealed how he and his his teammates wind up Manchester City loanee Joe Hart by playing as the Citizens on Playstation so they can score against him.

The England international was surprisingly axed by Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola in the summer, after the Spanish tactician deemed him not to be right fit for the 45-year-old’s style of play.

Hart eventually made the surprise move to Serie A side Torino on a season- long loan deal and has since impressed in Turin, helping his side to three league wins and two draws in his six top-flight matches.

And it appears that whilst Hart may have needed some love around him to help him settle in after playing for the entirety of his career in England, Obi has revealed how his teammates actually toy around with the 29-year-old.

“Joe has quickly picked up basic Italian but he only talks about positives at Manchester City – nothing negative,” Obi told The Sun.

“He reflects on the great moments – winning titles, big games and derbies – and tells us funny stuff about his team-mates, leaving us in stitches.

“Some of our players try to wind him up by playing as City on PlayStation just to remind him it’s easier to score against him in a video game than in reality.”

It appears the light-hearted mood around the Torino camp is certainly helping Hart, with Sinisa Mihajlovic’s men unbeaten in their last five games.
