Journalist Reveals Tottenham Are Considering A Move For Aston Villa Star

Tottenham boss Ange Postecoglou plans to enhance his squad this summer despite missing out on Champions League football.

Spurs finished fifth in the Premier League last season, two points behind Aston Villa, and failed to qualify for the Champions League.

To address their midfield woes, they are now looking to sign an Aston Villa player.

Tottenham have opted to pursue moves for a striker, a wide attacker, a midfielder, and a defender this summer.

According to journalist Ben Jacobs, Spurs are still looking at signing Villa midfielder Jacob Ramsey.

A honest journalist informed GiveMeSport.

“Tottenham are still looking into whether Ramsey is a possibility, but Villa don’t want to lose him, so they’ll either have to pay a high price for him, with or without Lo Celso, or move on.

“And it may be that there are other players that they have a stronger chance of successfully getting, including Wolves’ Pedro Neto, Leipzig’s Lois Openda, and in a slightly different position, Lille’s Jonathan David.”

Spurs have already signed one of the top young players in Archie Gray from Leeds United, and with the loan signing of Timo Werner, more talents are anticipated to arrive at Tottenham Stadium.

Spurs’ administration has decided to back their manager after he demonstrated promise in his first season at the club.

Ramsey will be a good addition for Tottenham.

The North London club will be wise to recruit the Villa midfielder because of his versatility, as he can play in both the number 8 and number 10 positions.

Ramsey is a dynamic player who contributes energy in the middle of the pitch, and his ability to rush in the box during attacks will be a great asset to the Spurs’ formation.

Postecoglou is also eager to add a prominent striker to his squad this summer, as they have yet to replace Harry Kane, who left for Bayern Munich.

Lille’s Jonathan David, who scored 19 goals in the league last season, is expected to transfer to solve their goal scoring issues.
