After his two assists in Sunday’s victory over Brentford, Kostas Tsimikas earned praise from Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp.
The Reds boss claims he noted an important transformation in the Greek player.

After a lackluster performance at Luton Town, Liverpool lost away at Toulouse in the Europa League, drawing 1-1.
However, the Reds delivered on Sunday, beating Brentford 3-0 with goals from Diogo Jota and two from the Egyptian forward Mohamed Salah.
Kostas Tsimikas Gets Praised By Jurgen Klopp After Liverpool Win.
According to HITC, Salah will undoubtedly take the glory, but Tsimikas, the left back, played a crucial role with two assists.
After crossing for Salah to head in his second, the Greek left back set up Jota for the third.
Tsimikas’s attacking thrust was expertly demonstrated here, and Klopp was impressed.
After recording that first assist, Klopp told Liverpool’s official website he saw a significant improvement in the 27-year-old.
After that, according to Klopp, Tsimikas really emerged as a player and provided the Reds a “top level” performance as a team.
“Kostas Tsimikas, [for] example, we all could see the difference between Kosti before the assist and after the assist,” said Klopp.
“That’s football and that’s life. It’s helpful if you get positive feedback and an assist is obviously positive feedback. So, very important, and a lot of players, actually all players really, performed on a top level today and I’m really happy with that,” he added.
Following a shoulder injury that rendered Andrew Robertson out of action, Tsimikas is now in the starting lineup.
The Left back is filling in for the time being as the Scot might not return until early in 2023.
Although the Greek player is a proficient attacker, there are moments when his defensive ability is lacking.

The youngster seemed to lose confidence after making a major mistake on Thursday against Toulouse.
Tsimikas should now feel more in the saddle after dishing out two assists against Brentford, especially with Premier League winners Manchester City up next.
Liverpool have been able to secure the second position on the table after a victorious game against Brentford and they are looking forward to face the city of manchester on 25th November.
