The Brazilian centre-back suffered a cruciate ligament injury in his left knee during the first few minutes of a Champions League match against RB Leipzig last week. Reported by Football italia.
Juventus has not officially confirmed his rehabilitation period, but multiple reports in Italy claim that the Brazilian will be sidelined for at least six months.
Bremer, a former Torino defender, joined Juventus in 2021 from their city rivals for €41 million plus €8 million in add-ons. The 27-year-old has eight goals in 91 appearances for the Old Lady.
He was a vital player under Thiago Motta this season, starting all games until his injury and helping the Serie A giants concede only one goal in seven outings across all competitions.
Juventus conceded twice against RB Leipzig following Bremer’s injury last week, and one more against Cagliari in Serie A this Sunday.
