Tuesday’s Coppa Italia (Italian Cup) semi-final first leg between giants Juventus and Inter Milan ended in a 1-1 draw.
Juventus’ Argentine winger Angel Di Maria’s classy bottom-left shot was tipped over by Inter goalie Samir Handanovic in the fourth minute at Juventus Stadium.
Juvetus’ goalkeeper Mattia Perin later deflected a close-range shot by Marcelo Brozovic in 33rd minute. Inter midfielder Henrikh Mkhitaryan’s made a very close attempt in the 64th minute but was slightly high.
In the 78th minute, Juventus attacker Arkadiusz Milik missed a chance to score at the mouth of the goal.
As the game seemed destined for a draw, the lead then went to the hosts in the 83rd minute. A goal by Colombian midfielder Juan Cuadrado was set to hand Juventus the win.
