The American has been used in a variety of positions at Lille this season, who finished fifth in Ligue 1 to qualify for the Europa Conference League, including a solid stint in both full-back roles despite playing as a striker during the World Cup for his national team, scoring in the 1-1 draw with Wales.

Despite some useful form in Lille’s 2021 title winning season and as an understudy across the pitch at times this term, Weah’s Lille career has rarely blossomed, failing to score this campaign while only providing eight goals and eight assists in 107 outings for LOSC since arriving in 2020.
As a result, given his form this season, it’s likely Weah will be used as a versatile wing-back at Juventus.
