Italian giants, Juventus are reportedly ready to hand Manchester United’s outcast, Mason Greenwood career lifeline by swooping the youngster against next season.
Greenwood hasn’t featured in a United game since January 2022. And he is still not a member of Erik ten Hag’s team. The Crown Prosecution Service dismissed the assault and alleged attempted rape charges against Greenwood in February. But United are still conducting their own inquiry.
Greenwood has been instructed to avoid the club’s Carrington training facility while that is going on. According to recent reports, the Red Devils would probably be willing to let him depart during the summer transfer window. In order to prevent unsettling Ten Hag’s side.
The Sun claims that Juventus are now prepared to give him a new start in the Serie A, away from England. It was also reported that the Old Ladies are ‘very interested’ in signing the former England international.
The top officials of Juventus have already spoken with Greenwood’s agents about a prospective transfer to the Allianz Stadium. They want to persuade United to let him go on a long-term loan in the hopes that a deal can be reached in the summer.

Several Turkish clubs, AC Milan, and Roma are expected to compete with Juve for Greenwood’s services. However, they reportedly think that Paul Pogba, who played with Greenwood at Old Trafford, being present in Turin can influence Greenwood to choose them as his United exit strategy.
Greenwood has two more years left on his current Old Trafford contract. Earning £75,000 weekly. United are certain that he will only go on loan if the potential suitor will pay the striker’s wages. He is currently training away from Carrington.
