Dusan Vlahovic could be on his way from Juventus to Chelsea if the Blues are willing to part ways with Romelu Lukaku in a part-exchange deal, according to a new report.
Lukaku has struggled to fit in at Stamford Bridge, but enjoyed an excellent season on loan with Inter Milan after leaving in 2021.
And, while Chelsea are seeking to rebuild after an unsuccessful Premier League season in the last 12 months, their plans to buy Vlahovic outright may be tough to justify financially.
According to Corriere della Sera, the Old Lady rejected a £51.5m bid for Serbian attacker Vlahovic, insisting on a £77m asking price.
However, Corriere dello Sport said that Juventus would reduce that price to just £21m if the Belgian international moved in the opposite direction to Turin, as reported by Football London.
Partial swap deals in football can be tough to navigate due to the many moving factors involved in organizing both halves, but if Chelsea and Juventus can reach an agreement, it may allow both to achieve their goals without incurring excessive transfer fees.

Simon Jones stated on Sunday night that Inter Milan will give Chelsea £30m for Lukaku’s permanent services, after he scored 14 goals in 37 games during his loan term back at the club.
Meanwhile, Vlahovic appeared in 27 Serie A games for Juventus last season, scoring ten times. He was bought from Fiorentina for £66m last summer and is still under contract until 2026.
Lukaku returned to Chelsea two years ago, scoring 15 goals in 59 games before joining Inter. The Blues will want to retrieve as much of the £97.5m transfer price they paid Inter in 2021 as possible.
