Juventus ‘Seal Agreement’ With Barcelona To Sign Araujo

Juventus have reportedly reached an agreement with Barcelona to sign Ronald Araujo.

According to La Repubblica as reported by Barca Universal, the Italian giants have also agreed personal terms with the Uruguay international.

Following weeks of rumors linking Araujo to Juventus, this move was made. Barcelona, who had been awaiting a response from the Italian club, have now approved the deal.

The Spanish Higher Council (CSD) of Sports’ recent decision to grant Barcelona a stay of execution in opposition to a La Liga rule served as the impetus for this decision.

Dani Olmo and Pau Victor were left from the team as a result of this decision. Araujo’s transfer is now possible because the ruling has been paused, allowing these two players to play while the final decision is still pending.

Araujo, who has previously expressed his desire to move, will now travel to Turin to finalize the required medical and formally join Juventus.

The Bianconeri are expected to benefit greatly from his arrival, especially in terms of bolstering their defense. The Italian team have been having defensive difficulties since Gleison Bremer’s injury, thus this move comes at a critical moment.

As they advance in both domestic and European competitions, Juventus will be hoping that Araujo can offer the consistency and leadership required to strengthen their defensive performance.
