Manchester United Icon, Roy Keane has praised Liverpool for keeping Mohamed Salah for another two years and claimed that Arsenal would have won the Premier League title if the Egyptian was part of the team.
Liverpool increased their advantage at the top of the standings over the weekend, and the Premier League trophy will be on its way to Anfield in just a few weeks.
Liverpool defeated West Ham 2-1 to go 13 points clear with six games left after Arsenal was only able to draw 1-1 at home against Brentford on Saturday.
Salah was linked to a lucrative move to Saudi Arabia, as his current contract was set to expire in the summer.

But on Friday, it was revealed that Salah, who has been the Premier League’s best player so far this season, had signed a new two-year deal with Liverpool.
Former United captain Keane said that if Salah had played at the Emirates Stadium instead of Anfield, Arsenal would have won the league and that Liverpool’s decision to sign the “special player” to a new contract was essential.
“He does it week in, week out,’ Keane said on Sky Sports prior to Liverpool’s narrow victory over West Ham. ‘He scores goals, assists.
“Put it this way, if you put him in the Arsenal team, Arsenal win the league this year. That’s how special he is.
“I’m glad he got the deal done because you want the top players playing in the Premier League and he deserves it.”
