Following a brief solo warm-up, Federico Chiesa, who has struggled with fitness since joining from Juventus in late August and hasn’t played in two months, also joined the group.
However, left-back Kostas Tsimikas was still not there. He is anticipated to be out for a brief period of time after missing Sunday’s victory against Southampton due to an ankle injury.
Despite returning to individual training last week, Alisson Becker, who has missed eight games due to a hamstring issue, was not with the goalkeepers, reports Standard.
In the meantime, Liverpool captain Virgil van Dijk stated that two losses to Real Madrid in the Champions League final do not give the Reds any more desire as they get ready to play the Spanish powerhouses once again.
The 33-year-old Netherlands defender has fallen four times against Real Madrid, including twice in the 2018 and 2021 championship games when Liverpool was undoubtedly superior.
