Liverpool manager, Jurgen Klopp was tight-lipped when asked about the possible return of Jordan Henderson to the club.
Six months after joining Al Ettifaq from Liverpool, Henderson is rumored to be willing to leave the Saudi Arabian side. The former Reds captain is “desperate” to return to the Premier League soon.
Chelsea boss, Mauricio Pochettino recently shut down rumors that the Blues could go after Henderson. And now Klopp has also put an end to the conjecture.
According to 90min, when Klopp was asked if Henderson could be signed again by Liverpool, he responded dismissively.
“Did Hendo have a press conference and say that or what? Ah, it’s just written. That means for me it’s not existing.
“He didn’t call me. We spoke actually, but not about that. So really nothing to say about that.”
As his time with Liverpool came to an end, Henderson lost his standing as a crucial starter. He eventually moved on this summer, joining Steven Gerrard at Al Ettifaq.
The midfield star, who spent many years in the Premier League openly supporting LGBTQ+ causes, came under heavy fire when he moved to Saudi Arabia, where homosexuality is illegal.

During his recent Three Lions’ appearances, Henderson has faced jeers from England supporters. The 33-year-old first claimed he did not understand the public’s reaction to his move, but he later acknowledged the controversy.
Henderson’s desire to return to the Premier League is believed to have been influenced by his future with the England national team. Where he may have a better chance of persuading manager Gareth Southgate to stick with him ahead of the 2024 Euros.
