Liverpool manager, Jurgen Klopp provided the latest information on his squad in his pre-match press conference as they set for a mouth-watering Premier League tie against Tottenham Hotspur on Saturday.
The Reds have been without Trent Alexander Arnold for four games, while Thiago Alcantara has been out since April.
Arnold hasn’t played since suffering an injury against Aston Villa, but on Thursday, he was spotted returning to first-team training.
In the event that the full-back passes a last-minute fitness test, the German gaffer has stated that he will probably start the game against Spurs.
However, the Liverpool manager said that Stefan Bajcetic’s attempt to come back from a protracted injury layoff had been hampered.
“Trent trained yesterday normal,” Klopp said, as reported by The Express. “Will train today normal. We have to make a decision. It looks like he will be in the squad and play.
“Stefan had a little, little, little setback. The problem with Stefan – everyone wants to see him play more and I want to – it’s a little, little, tiny calf issue.
“That’s how it is when you’re six months out and we try everything to get him up to speed without pushing him.
“We make a specific plan for him. But in the end it’s disappointing for him and us that he’s got another one.
“We have to take him out a little bit. He can work on pretty much everything else, but not playing. Thiago still out. Conor [Bradley] still out.”

Bajcetic finally made his injured comeback last week as Liverpool defeated LASK in the Europa League.
Then, in the latest 3-1 triumph over Leicester in the Carabao Cup, he came on as a substitute.
