Jurgen Klopp gave the most direct indication yet that Liverpool might be prepared to make a new acquisition before the transfer window closes.
At his pre-match conference on Friday, the Reds manager appeared to leave the door open to the possibility of new arrivals at Anfield.
This comes after he has previously dismissed the idea on many occasions
This summer, Liverpool added three senior players: Calvin Ramsay, a young fullback, Darwin Nunez, and Fabio Carvalho.
However, with eight players presently out due to injury, including four senior midfielders, calls for more arrivals this summer have grown stronger. Names like Jude Bellingham, Nicolo Barella, and Moises Caicedo have all been linked to the club.
However, Klopp insists any deal right now must be for ‘the right player’

“I don’t know. As you can imagine, we are actually working constantly on these kind of things. We spoke about the reasons why sometimes it is not happening; sometimes too expensive, sometimes not the right player.
