England’s Kobbie Mainoo shown his class ahead of the Euro 2024 semi-final against the Netherlands.
The Manchester United midfielder joined Declan Rice and put up an outstanding performance against the Dutch. Mainoo, 19, has had a fantastic ascent since making his first league start for United in November, and reaching the Euros final is the most recent milestone in his unbelievable career.
Mainoo, who scored in the FA Cup final, has constantly shrugged off the pressure of the moment. The teenager demonstrated this by taking the time to thank one of his former teammates on the same day he competed in a Three Lions semi-final.

Charlie McNeill, a former Manchester United striker, confirmed that he has signed a three-year contract with Sheffield Wednesday. Mainoo was one of several young Red Devils fans to wish him success on social media, leaving a heart emoji message hours before kickoff in Dortmund.
United released McNeill this summer after his contract expired. The 20-year-old was signed from local rivals Manchester City, where he scored 24 goals in 21 U18 games in his first season. He made his only first-team appearance at the age of 18, against Real Sociedad in the Europa League.
The forward has previously had short loan spells at Newport County and Stevenage, but he hopes to showcase his abilities at the Owls. McNeill stated on Instagram, “Delighted to join this massive club for the next three years!” I can’t wait to get started and see all the fans at Hillsborough.”
Meanwhile, Mainoo’s focus will be on finishing his breakthrough season with a bang as the England team looks to create history.
