The agents of Chelsea’s midfielder, Matteo Kovacic are reportedly in England to discuss a move for the Croatian international.
In the summer, Kovacic will begin the final year of his contract at Stamford Bridge. And since there hasn’t been a decision on a potential extension. Some clubs in the Premier League have taken an interest.
Chelsea are prepared to sell Kovacic this summer if he refuses to sign a contract extension. This is in line with their new policy that any unsettled players in the final two years of their contracts are available for the right price.
In the next few days, Kovacic’s agents will discuss the matter with Chelsea. And according to 90min, they are also planning meetings with the several Premier League teams. Who have shown an interest in the 28-year-old.
After expressing interest in Kovacic over the past few months. Manchester City, Manchester United, and Liverpool are all anticipated to meet with the midfielder’s representatives.
If the appropriate opportunities present themselves this summer. Chelsea are prepared to revitalize their midfield and have a number of targets in mind.
