Robert Kubica says there has been no fall-out at Williams, despite reports saying their relationship has soured. It has been a very difficult return to F1 this year for Kubica, who had not raced in the sport since 2011 after suffering a near-fatal crash in the Ronde di Andora rally. Williams had a miserable pre-season testing stint as the car was not ready in time and they only made limited progress. They have spent virtually all season at the back of the grid, with Kubica getting the only point on the board after taking advantage in a rain-soaked German Grand Prix. The Polish driver has been critical of the team recently after they changed parts on his car without consulting him. However, Kubica insists their relationship is good and he was simply expressing his frustration. “I never questioned the team, I just questioned their way of deciding things,” he explained to Motorsportweek.com. “I think we are all on the same boat. “I think I showed for many times, not only in this season, that I think I’m the guy who understands the sport pretty well, and not only from a driver point of view. “I felt like some things could be handled differently with just talking instead of doing it in a different way.”
