Kyle Walker Risks Wrath Of Pep Guardiola With Prediction After Leaving Man City

Kyle Walker is aiming for more Champions League glory with AC Milan after wrapping up his Manchester City tenure.

It surfaced earlier this month that the experienced right-back was eager to explore the idea of transferring abroad, and a loan deal to Milan was agreed late last week. The Italian club has the option of signing Walker, 34, permanently at the conclusion of the season for about £4.2 million.

Walker had a successful career with City, winning multiple Premier League titles and the Champions League in 2023. He has now placed his sights on another European title, despite the fact that his former club is still in the competition.

Walker reflected on his departure on Monday, saying: “Obviously, I spoke with Zlatan (Ibrahimovic), and he explained a lot of different things to me, including the fantastic things we’re aiming to do here.

“We discussed the Super Cup, which was a terrific start. The league is far from flawless, but there is still a chance to compete in the Champions League. I wish to give my skills and leadership to help Milan go back to where it wants to be. Reported by Mirror.

“Winning the Champions League would be a dream come true: I have experienced it in a great final with City.”

Walker considered quitting City in 2023 when Bayern Munich approached him. Pep Guardiola said that his captain was destined to go just before Milan approached the Premier League winners about a trade. The 93-cap England player has now revealed some details about their conversation.
