Real Madrid fans appeared to be more concerned with mocking Kylian Mbappe than with celebrating their team’s Champions League victory on Sunday.
After defeating Liverpool 1-0 in the final at the Stade de France on Saturday, Carlo Ancelotti’s side returned to Madrid with the prestigious European Cup.
However, when it came time to share their excitement with the public, they discovered that many of their supporters were still furious with Mbappe’s decision to leave Madrid to continue his career at Paris Saint-Germain.

The ceremony was disrupted by chants while the squad stepped on stage in front of a large gathering of supporters.
Marcelo, a Brazilian defender, was about to deliver a speech when the Madrid fans began chanting in unison, “Kylian Mbappe, son of a b*tch!”

Why Did Kylian Mbappe Turn Down Real Madrid?
When Mbappe’s contract with PSG expired this summer, it was widely expected that he would join Real Madrid.
His mother revealed that agreements had been reached with both the Spanish and French sides, and that Mbappe would have to pick between the two.
He then signed a three-year contract with the Ligue 1 champions, citing sentimental reasons for his desire to stay in his country.
Mbappe emphasized that his ambition of playing for Real Madrid is “never over” and that he might still move to the Santiago Bernabeu in the future.
