Kylian Mbappe and PSG President ‘Heard Arguing’ Over Viral Farewell Video

A fierce argument between Kylian Mbappe and Paris Saint-Germain president Nasser Al-Khelaifi is said to have occurred prior to the team’s game against Toulouse, only days after the Frenchman announced his resignation.

Mbappe declared on Friday that his seven-year tenure at PSG will come to an end this summer, and it appears he will be moving to the Bernabeu.

For the France captain, who said he was a youth idol of Real Madrid, it would be a dream transfer.

Al-Khelaifi was reportedly upset that Mbappe excluded him from his goodbye video, which honored staff, supporters, and other people, according to the French publication Le Parisien.

The player was subsequently summoned by Al-Khelaifi for a meeting, which happened at Parc des Princes a little more than an hour before Sunday’s game against Toulouse.

Anger mounting in the PSG president, the private conversation took a violent turn, with the two heard’screaming at each other’. The altercation was so violent that “walls shook.”

PSG’s pre-game warm-up was delayed as a result, and the players arrived on the field later than planned.

After the reports were refuted, PSG stated, “It is disappointing to see more fake news circulating this evening.” There is not even the slightest disagreement.

“To finalize the end-of-season departure arrangements, the President and Kylian have met before matches on a regular basis.” Even the discussion that took place prior to last night’s game was courteous and productive.

Just before the game started, Mbappe was booed by PSG supporters, expressing their displeasure.

Mbappe Could Be Heading To Madrid

The huge screen in the stadium displayed the names and numbers of the players as the stadium announcer inside the stadium announced the team for their last home game of the season.

Loud jeers could be heard when Mbappe and No. 7 arrived, and the players’ performance on the field did not lift the spirits of the supporters.

In his last home game for PSG, Mbappe scored, but Toulouse overcame a 1-0 deficit to win 3-1.

According to Mail Online, Madrid is prepared to pay Mbappe more than the £10.3 million that they currently pay Jude Bellingham and Vinicius Junior per season, making him the club’s highest paid.

They’ll also start negotiations over what proportion of his image rights he keeps, and pay a signing-on fee estimated to be around £85.5 million.

Madrid president Florentino Perez is probably going to give in to the player’s mother Fayza Lamari’s demands, who wants the team to stop sharing the player’s earnings fifty percent of the time.

Luka Modric will be giving up his No. 10 shirt in the summer, and Mbappe is anticipated to take it. With him, Madrid would have a forward line that included Mbappe, Vinicius Jr., and Rodrygo, with Bellingham providing support.

Les Parisiens have won six titles in Ligue 1 since his arrival from Monaco in 2017. They only lost out on the title in the 2020–21 campaign, as Lille edged them out for first place by a single point.

Since his permanent £155 million transfer in 2018, Mbappe has also been the team’s top scorer across all competitions in every season.

Over that period, Mbappe has won three French cups, two French league cups, and three French super cups.
