Real Madrid is getting more and more excited about the possibility of acquiring Kylian Mbappe. Although there are some rumors that the 25-year-old has made up his mind about his future, negotiations are still ongoing. The forward for Paris Saint-Germain hasn’t signed anything, and if Los Blancos agreed to Mbappe’s demands, they would undoubtedly be violating their wage policy.

According to a number of rumors, including one from Fabrizio Romano, Florentino Perez will not make Mbappe’s 2022 contract as lucrative. Mbappe’s demands, though, don’t seem to have decreased much. According to Cadena SER, Mbappe has three main requests for the amount of money he hopes to make.
First of all, he demands a gross annual compensation of €50 million. With top earners reportedly making between €14 and €15 million, this would place him at nearly twice the top end of the current wage system that Los Blancos has been implementing.
Second, he demands a €125 million signing bonus, which is basically a reduced transfer cost for both himself and Fayza Lamari, his mother and agent. Thirdly, he desires to keep a portion of the rights to his image.
Unless Los Blancos are desperate for Mbappe to humble himself, having turned down their offers in recent years, all of these demands appear to be within reach for Real Madrid. With Mbappe seemingly so close, after so long, it would be a major surprise if Perez let the money get in the way of a deal.
