The Spanish League continue to block Neymar’s move to Paris Saint-Germain even though the Brazilian has already completed his £198m transfer.
Neymar needs La Liga to send his International Transfer Certificate to the French League but according to Le Parisien, they have still not complied.
Without the papers PSG cannot register the player with Ligue 1 and he can’t play.
The world-record signing has already missed one game this season, sitting out the home fixture with Amiens on Saturday.
In order to be eligible for Sunday’s game against Guingamp, Neymar needs to have been registered by Thursday.
If the papers have not arrived by then PSG could bypass the Spanish and go straight to FIFA but that could create an extra delay.
The Spanish League claim the delay is normal but PSG are still fuming from the way La Liga president Javier Tebas rejected the buy-out clause cheque when it was presented in Madrid last Thursday by lawyers representing Neymar.
Tebas has also been outspoken publicly accusing the Ligue 1 club of financial doping.
Neymar, for now does not seemed too perturbed by the hold-up.
On Monday he was in Saint Tropez with pals enjoying a day off after PSG’s first win of the season.
