Frank Lampard has named Manchester City striker Sergio Aguero as the best goalscorer he ever played with.
The ex-England midfielder, 38, played with Aguero at the Etihad after ending a 13-year stay at Chelsea in 2014.
Lampard only spent one season with City but saw enough of Aguero to believe the Argentine was the best goalscorer he ever shared a dressing room with.
When speaking about Aguero, who has scored 114 goals in 170 league games in England, Chelsea legend Lampard told Sky Sports: ‘I was fortunate enough to play with great players.
‘Didier Drogba I always rave about. He was an all-round striker and gave you everything.
‘But in terms of an out-and-out goalscorer, Aguero is the best I played with. He can be quiet for much of the game and then he’ll score the winning goal.
‘He’s lethal around the box and sharp. He does produce.’
