Lazaro not planning for January exit

Max Hagmayr, the agent of Inter midfielder Valentino Lazaro, has revealed his client is not considering a January exit from the club. Austria international Lazaro arrived at Inter in the previous transfer window from Hertha Berlin in a 20million euro deal, with big hype surrounding his switch to Italy’s top flight.
However, the 23-year-old has only made two appearances in all competitions this season, amassing just 58 minutes of football, and there are reports claiming he is unhappy with a lack of playing time.
It is also claimed manager Antonio Conte has been disappointed by the midfielder’s impact during his first few months and the former Chelsea boss may be ready to sanction a move.
A permanent exit is unlikely although it is rumoured a loan move could be on the cards in January, with several Serie A clubs said to be interested.
However, these hopes could be dashed after Lazaro’s agent, Hagmayr, insisted there are no plans to leave the club any time soon.
He said in an interview with Calciomercato.it: “It is not yet in our plans for him to leave in the January transfer window.”
Lazaro has been named on the bench in all 10 of Inter’s league matches this season and is expected to retain his place among the substitutes for Saturday’s clash at Bologna, who are sitting 11th in the standings ahead of the game.
Conte’s men would move top of the table with a win although defending champions Juventus, who are away to Torino in the late kick-off, would have the chance to move back to the summit.
