Leicester City boss Brendan Rodgers has provided an update about the fitness of key midfielder Wilfred Ndidi.
The defensive midfielder was expected to be out until Christmas at the earliest with an adductor injury.
He had surgery on the problem, and Rodgers now says he could be fit for his team’s match against Zorya Luhansk in the Europa League next Thursday.
Rodgers also spoke about the fitness of other key players.
“Timothy [Castagne] hasn’t travelled, so we’re just monitoring him over the course of this week to see where he’s at before the game on Monday (against Fulham),” said Rodgers.
“Wilf (Ndidi) is progressing really well, so we’ll see the possibility of him when we play in Ukraine, so that’ll be great news.
“Cags [Caglar Soyuncu], he’s a bit further down the line, but we’ll see where he’s at in the next few weeks.
“They’re progressing really well, but none of them are obviously here to play.”
