Leicester City v Arsenal Team News

High-flying Leicester have no fresh injury concerns as they get set to welcome struggling Arsenal to King Power Stadium for a top-four showdown. The Foxes have won five of their last six matches in the Premier League to move up to third and could go second if they get the better of the Gunners.
With over a quarter of the season gone, Brendan Rodgers’ men are firmly in the mix for a top-four finish and have a six-point advantage over their north London rivals.
Leicester have already beaten fellow Champions League hopefuls Tottenham at home and were comfortable winners the last time they faced Arsenal at the back end of the previous campaign, securing a 3-0 triumph.
Jamie Vardy scored twice that day and enters this weekend’s clash in fine form, netting seven in his last five matches to take over as the leader in the Golden Boot race.
Vardy will lead the line again for Rodgers’ men with the Northern Ireland tactician likely to stick with the same side that beat Crystal Palace 2-0.
Rodgers has a near fully-fit squad to choose from with only Matty James unavailable as he recovers from an Achilles injury.
Ahead of kick-off, Rodgers has played down talk he could be tempted to leave Leicester to take over as Arsenal boss with the ex-Liverpool and Celtic chief emerging as one of the bookmakers’ favourites to succeed Unai Emery.
The Spaniard is under mounting pressure after a poor run of form from Arsenal, winning just one of the last five in the Premier League.
The Gunners have made a habit of throwing away leads of late and have been ahead in all four of their last matches, only to fail to win any of them.
Their form away from home will hardly inspire those travelling to Leicester that they can end their winless run, coming out on top in just four of the last 16 Premier League away games.
Arsenal will make the trip to King Power Stadium without Dani Ceballos after he picked up a hamstring injury in Wednesday’s 1-1 draw with Vitoria Guimaraes in the Europa League.
The only other absentee is Granit Xhaka, who is currently not in Emery’s selection plans for personal reasons following his angry exit from the field during the 2-2 draw with Crystal Palace last month.
