Lionel Messi is already starting to make an impression on the Inter Miami squad after helping a teammate to obtain tickets to his highly anticipated unveiling.
After his contract with French powerhouse Paris Saint-Germain expired, it was announced last month that Messi would sign with MLS team Inter Miami.
At the DRV PNK Stadium in Fort Lauderdale on Sunday, the seven-time Ballon d’Or winner was officially introduced in front of an energetic crowd. The event was so popular that even Inter Miami player Leonardo Campana couldn’t secure enough tickets until Messi stepped in.

According to Inter Miami defender DeAndre Yedlin, Messi popped up surprisingly in the players’ group chat to save the day.
He told the media: “Actually for the little event that he had, well, I say little event…
“The big event that he had on Sunday, Campana was looking for tickets and he put in the group chat, ‘Hey, does anybody have any tickets?’

“And then I didn’t even know that Leo was in or Messi was in the group chat yet.”
Yedlin continued: “But he popped up straight away and said, ‘How many do you need though?’ Straight away like that. So just from there I was like, ‘Wow.’ Straight off the bat. They’ve known each other for maybe, I dunno two days, three days or something.
“But just to show that generosity, that is a great first example of how he is.”
