The Premier League table is presently six points clear of his team, and manager Arne Slot has been cautious about the possibility of making a new signing in January.
But Khvicha Kvaratskhelia, a winger for Napoli who has been a revelation at the club since signing from Dinamo Batumi in 2022, is now being linked to the Reds.
The Georgian international made 107 club games and scored 30 goals in his debut season, helping his team win the first Premier League championship in 33 years.
However, because Napoli officials have not yet offered him a new contract, his future in Italy is now in question, reports Express.
Since Kvaratskhelia’s current contract expires in 2027, other European teams appear to have taken notice.
The Athletic also claims that Liverpool is keeping tabs on the matter.
Even though Slot has a variety of attacking players at his disposal, players like Darwin Nunez and Harvey Elliott seem to be out of favor, while Federico Chiesa has hardly played since joining from Juventus in the summer.
And the secret to a Kvaratskhelia move could lie in Chiesa.
According to reports, Napoli is interested in bringing the 27-year-old back to Serie A, which might lead to a swap between the two teams.
