Liverpool ‘Convinced They Have Signed Super Talent’ From Chelsea

Liverpool have reportedly completed the signing of highly-rated and sensational forward, Rio Ngumoha from Chelsea.

After the Reds completed the five-step evaluation process, which is a standard procedure when a young player aspires to switch between two category one academies, the Premier League authorized the deal on Wednesday.

It follows rumors from July that the 16-year-old wanted to move from Chelsea to Anfield.

Ngumoha’s departure was said to have incensed Chelsea, who under Todd Boehly’s ownership had habitually spent large sums of money on youngsters.

John Terry wrote the young player a message on Instagram, and transfer specialist Fabrizio Romano reported that the Reds are certain they have signed a “top, super talent for the future.”

According to the Daily Mail, the forward is viewed by the Reds as a “big talent for the present and future, and part of a first team long term project,” it is noted.

Ngumoha, who is expected to be driven by Liverpool’s possibilities and career path—which include watching a young, second-string team defeat Chelsea in the Carabao Cup final last season—will join the team on a scholar’s contract.
