Liverpool is competing with other Premier League teams for Bournemouth attacker Antoine Semenyo. Semenyo has emerged as a target for top clubs following his form for the Cherries this season, with the 25-year-old scoring 10 goals and assisting six times in 36 appearances.
Manchester United and Tottenham are also said to be interested in Semenyo, who previously named Virgil van Dijk as his toughest opponent, as both clubs seek reinforcements over the summer following disappointing 2024-25 seasons.
United and Tottenham are presently 14th and 15th in the Premier League, with both clubs’ seasons being dependent on success in the Europa League.

And it appears that they will need to win the competition and reap the benefits of qualifying for the Champions League in order to afford a player like Semenyo. That’s because Bournemouth is reportedly asking for £70 million ($93 million) for the Ghana international, who is a vital player under Andoni Iraola.
According to GiveMeSport, Liverpool is “threatening to go toe-to-toe” with United and Spurs for Semenyo, but Bournemouth has the upper hand because he has four years left on his deal with the South Coast club, which was renewed last summer.
In addition to United, Liverpool, and Spurs, Chelsea is thought to be keeping an eye on Semenyo’s position, though the price tag may ultimately prove too exorbitant to deter any contender.
According to the article, the Reds believe Bournemouth left-back Milos Kerkez, who has been linked with a move to Liverpool, is a better value option than Semenyo.
