Liverpool have been boosted by the news that Mohamed Salah has been released from the Egypt squad ahead of a hectic schedule at domestic level.
The Reds, who have had a poor start to the 2022-23 season by their own lofty standards, have 12 games to play in the Premier League, Carabao Cup, and Champions League before club football comes to a halt for the World Cup.

The news that Salah will have plenty of time to heal before top-flight competition in England resumes at the weekend will be welcome news to Jurgen Klopp. The Liverpool boss has already had to deal with a number of untimely injuries this season.
“The technical staff of the Egyptian national team preferred to rest Mohamed Salah and Mostafa Mohamed for the Liberia friendly after both took part in the previous match against Niger,” according to a statement from the Egyptian FA regarding the choice to send Salah back to Anfield rather than have him participate in a pointless friendly.

Over the course of seven hectic weeks, Liverpool will play host to Brighton on Saturday and will also face off against Rangers, Arsenal, Manchester City, Ajax, Napoli, and Tottenham.
Salah has only scored two Premier League goals so far this season, and both Liverpool and Egypt FA will hope he starts scoring frequently.
