Liverpool icon Steven Gerrard has generously given £10,000 ($12,770) to a GoFundMe campaign established for victims of the Southport stabbings earlier this week. He follows in the footsteps of Anthony Gordon, who has made an equally significant contribution to the cause.

The fund page, titled ‘Southport Dance Group Emergency Fund – 29th July 2024’, was created in response to the tragedy that claimed the lives of three children. It has raised more than £70,000 ($89,000) as of this writing.

Alice Dasilva, Elsie Dot Stancombe, and Bebe King were stabbed on Monday at the Hart Space on Hart Street in Southport, during a Taylor Swift dancing class. Her admirers have also set up a donation page, and the superstar singer has posted her own message of support.

On Monday, Alice Dasilva, Elsie Dot Stancombe, and Bebe King were attacked at the Hart Space on Hart Street in Southport while attending a Taylor Swift dancing class. Her fans have also created a contribution page, and the superstar singer has shared her own message of support.

Earlier this week, Liverpool CEO Billy Hogan addressed the victims. “Before we start I just wanted to say that given the events that have taken place in Southport, the terrible events that have taken place there, our thoughts are with the victims of the families, so I didn’t want to start without acknowledging that,” he told the audience.

The club’s X (previously Twitter) account also expressed support. “The Liverpool and Everton football clubs have united to convey their love and support to everyone touched by today’s awful events in Southport. “You are in our thoughts and prayers,” the message read.
