Liverpool Identify Real Madrid Star As Potential Replacement For 31-Year-Old Brazilian

Liverpool have reportedly identified Real Madrid goalkeeper, Andriy Lunin as a possible replacement for Alission Becker, who has been a subject of interest from Saudi Arabian clubs.

The top player for the Reds and Manchester City shot-stopper, Ederson are thought to be major summer targets for Pro League outfits.

There are legitimate worries that the 31-year-old Brazilian may give in to the allure of the Middle East and the contract that is probably going to be offered. Despite the fact that incoming manager Arne Slot will be anxious to hold onto the player.

As a result, a recent HITC story as claimed by Caught Offside, Slot has Lunin on his list of potential replacements for Alisson in the event that the Kop’s beloved goalkeeper leaves before his contract expires in 2027.

The Ukraine international had a great 2023/24 campaign, stepping in for the injured Thibaut Courtois and the out-of-favor Kepa.

But now that Courtois is back in the number one shirt, Lunin is rumored to be looking toward a bigger role because he now knows what it’s like to be a regular.

For this reason, Liverpool may be the 25-year-old’s final destination. Naturally, a lot needs to happen before Real Madrid’s number 13 moves to Merseyside.

But supporters would do well to monitor this one as well. Since rumors are starting to circulate that Alisson may be the Middle East’s next big addition.
