The Reds have two months before they may choose to bolster Arne Slot’s team for the second half of the season by signing new players.

Last summer, Liverpool paid Juventus £12.5 million to sign Federico Chiesa.

In 2025, Giorgi Mamardashvili, who was also signed from Valencia, will officially move to Anfield after finishing the current season with the La Liga team.

The Reds have won 14 of their 16 games in all competitions this season, and they are now leading both the Premier League and the Champions League standings.

Liverpool will face competition from a number of teams to sign Karim Adeyemi, a forward for Borussia Dortmund.

The Reds want to sign Adeyemi, but Paris Saint-Germain, Juventus and Chelsea will compete for his services.

During the summer transfer window, Adeyemi was linked to a move to Liverpool.

However, the Germany international chose to stay with Dortmund and is still being predicted to leave the Bundesliga team months later, reports Echo.

Dortmund would demand at least €50 million (£42 million) to let Adeyemi go next summer.

In other news, Liverpool’s attempt to sign Hugo Larsson, a midfielder for Eintracht Frankfurt, has apparently been unsuccessful.

Arsenal has joined the Reds in their pursuit of the 20-year-old prospect during the January transfer window.
