After a year in the club’s junior system, the 19-year-old moved for Calavera in 2022 but returned to Real Betis’ academy in 2023.
With 12 games played, he has a goal and an assist and was promoted to the first team earlier this season.
Other teams, including Liverpool, have taken notice of Rodríguez after he “exploded” at the La Liga team.
The winger is being watched by a number of clubs, “specifically” one from the Premier League.
At this point, Liverpool is brought up.
According to PTI Sevilla, the Reds dispatched scouts to watch the player in action against Athletic on Sunday.
The Spain U19 player was on the field for 81 minutes.
He failed to provide a goal or an assist as the match concluded in a 2-2 draw, reports Sport Witness.
Luis Alberto, Suso, Dani Pacheco and all former Liverpool players, had ties to Sevilla or Real Betis.
El Desmarque makes note of this to say that the Reds frequently “fish in their fishing ground,” and Rodríguez is now on their list.
