Liverpool Join Arsenal, Man City In Race To Sign 22-Year-Old Star

Liverpool have reportedly entered the race to sign Borussia Dortmund winger, Karim Adeyemi, with Manchester City and Arsenal also interested.

Adeyemi recently plundered a hat-trick in Dortmund’s 7-1 victory over Celtic in the UEFA Champions League in midweek.

Dortmund’s thumping of Celtic on Tuesday night felt like a true coming-of-age performance from their Germany Under 21 international speedster. Even though his evening was cut short early in the second half by a cruelly timed thigh injury.

Many of the qualities that make the 22-year-old one of the most formidable offensive players in Europe on his day were demonstrated by Adeyemi’s second goal.

Turning on his turbocharged acceleration, the Red Bull Salzburg graduate easily ducked past a desperate Celtic challenge before launching an almost unbelievable strike into Kasper Schmeichel’s near post.

And now that Adeyemi’s reputation is at its highest point ever, TBR Football reports that Premier League sides, Manchester City, Arsenal, and Liverpool have their sights set on a player who signed a £32 million deal with Dortmund in 2022.

Despite Juventus’ interest, Adeyemi remained in his current club throughout the summer.

Due to his stellar start to the current season—five goals and five assists in just eight games, Adeyemi has also been linked to Bayern Munich, Barcelona, and Paris Saint-Germain.

Furthermore, Dortmund may have to fight to hold onto Adeyemi in the upcoming months as some of England’s top teams are looking to add attackers before the 2025/26 season.
