Liverpool’s season may be over for the year but they’re more optimistic about their projected transfer activity for the summer.
Jurgen Klopp has already completed two pieces of business, with Marko Grujic and Joel Matip set to arrive on Merseyside in the close season, and now The Sun reports that Liverpool are leading the chase for Dynamo Kiev ace Andriy Yarmolenko.
The Ukrainian international has set his sights on a Premier League transfer this summer and has attracted a vast amount of interest in England, with Everton and Arsenal also in the hunt to land the 26-year-old.
Whilst Arsenal are optimistic of completing a deal, reports in Ukraine have suggested that Klopp’s Liverpool are at the front of the queue.
Yarmolenko himself has stated he plans to move to England this summer and he could increase interest in his services this summer if he performs well at the European Championships.
