Liverpool are reportedly viewed as the favourites to sign Borussia Dortmund and England midfielder Jude Bellingham.
Many of the world’s top teams are said to be interested in signing the 19-year-old during the next summer’s transfer window.
Real Madrid, Manchester City, and Chelsea are all said to be interested in the Englishman, and according to a recent report, Manchester United had identified him as their top target for next year.
However, as per ESPN, Liverpool remain the favourites to sign him at the end of the 2023-24 season.
According to the report, the Merseyside club’s ‘close relationship’ with Bellingham’s camp has given them an advantage in securing an agreement.
There is a feeling that other teams ‘have ground to make up’ on Liverpool, with the Reds planning a big-money move for the teenager during the summer transfer window.
Dortmund have privately accepted that Bellingham will go next summer, despite the fact that the midfielder has three years remaining on his deal with the German club.
The former Birmingham City youngster is estimated to be worth around £10m0 to BVB, though a recent report said that the final fee may go closer to £130m.

Bellingham has been in fine form with his Bundesliga club this season, scoring nine goals and providing two assists in 19 games across all competitions.
In total, the midfielder has represented BVB on 109 occasions since joining from Birmingham in the summer of 2020, scoring 19 goals and 20 assists in the process.
Man United are thought to have been interested in signing Bellingham when he left Birmingham, but the player’s team finally decided that a transfer to Germany would be more beneficial.
