Liverpool Learn Bournemouth’s Asking Price For Kerkez

Bournemouth will reportedly request for £45 million before parting ways with Milos Kerkez.

The Cherries paid almost £15 million to recruit Kerkez in the summer of 2023 under previous technical director Richard Hughes, who is now in charge at Liverpool and is widely predicted to reunite with the Hungary international this summer.

Kerkez, one of the top left-backs in the Premier League with two goals and six assists this season, is anticipated to be a top target for Liverpool.

The 21-year-old was brutally honest about his desire to play at the top level when questioned about a potential move to Anfield.

The Times claims that signing Kerkez this summer will cost any interested parties £45 million, and the South-Coast club are reportedly requiring a cash-only agreement.

Liverpool goalkeeper, Caoimhin Kelleher has recently been linked to Bournemouth, however it is emphasized that there would be no interest in a swap deal.

Liverpool’s interest in Kerkez is a result of Scotland international Andy Robertson’s poor season, during which he recently said he was made a “scapegoat” by supporters.

Even if Kerkez does sign with the Reds this summer, Robertson is ready to compete for a spot in Liverpool’s starting lineup. Kostas Tsimikas, a Greek international, is probably going to be put up for sale.
