Souness gave his assessment during an interview with Troy Deeney and Simon Jordan on the Up Front Podcast.

Alexander-Arnold’s aggressive approach makes him the perfect substitute for Dani Carvajal, who is no longer the same player that Los Blancos need at right-back.
The right-back is someone Liverpool cannot afford to lose anytime soon, much less for nothing.
Being one of their most valuable assets, he should fetch Liverpool a substantial sum of money even if he decides to go.
