Liverpool are reportedly weighing up the signing of Juventus defender, Andrea Cambiaso following the news of Trent Alexander-Arnold potentially agreeing a move to Real Madrid.
In January, Cambiaso was strongly linked to a move to Manchester City. Midway through the season, however, a move proved too challenging, and Pep Guardiola’s team were predicted to make a comeback in the summer transfer window.
According to Tutto Mercato Web as reported by Football 365, Liverpool, Arsenal, and City are now all interested in Cambiaso and are expected to compete for his signature in the upcoming months.
Since the talented defender’s current contract doesn’t expire until 2029, Juventus are probably going to demand a high price to let him go.

Guardiola apparently “doesn’t want to give up” on Cambiaso, 25, who is highly regarded for his versatility, quality, and technical ability. He can play in both full-back positions, which is a highly valued attribute at the top level.
The Italy international had made 35 appearances and accumulated almost 2,500 minutes as a vital starter under Thiago Motta this season prior to the Italian manager’s dismissal.
He has been a vital member of the Azzurri, starting five of their six 2024 UEFA Nations League matches.
The Reds will require a significant replacement to cover for Trent Alexander-Arnold, who is rumored to be leaving on a free transfer to Real Madrid this summer at the end of this campaign.
