Liverpool have reportedly made a huge offer for Real Madrid midfielder, Federico Valverde after Moises Caicedo seems to be stalling on a move to Anfield.
To make up for the departures of Naby Keita, Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, and James Milner thus far this summer, the Reds have already recruited Alexis Mac Allister and Dominik Szoboszlai.
However, Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp might need to add one or two more players after the surprise departures of Jordan Henderson and Fabinho to Saudi Arabia.
Southampton’s Romeo Lavia had been the Reds’ top midfield priority after they made several offers for the Belgian teenage star. But they switched their plans this morning when they made a £110 million proposal for Brighton’s Caicedo.
The Seagulls have accepted that offer. However, transfer expert, Fabrizio Romano asserts that Caicedo has told Liverpool that he will only consider moving to Chelsea this summer.
According to a report in the Spanish newspaper Nacional as reported by Football 365, Liverpool might be finding progress,. The publication claims that the Reds ‘are interested’ in bringing Real Madrid’s Valverde to Anfield this summer.
