Liverpool under-18s have added a further 12 scholars to their Academy ranks ahead of the forthcoming 2023/24 season.
Under-18s manager Marc Bridge-Wilkinson has seen his ranks strengthened by a new intake of first-year scholars, which include FA Youth Cup star Kareem Ahmed, this summer said by liverpoolecho
Ahmed will be joined by defender Carter Pinnington, midfielder Luca Furnell-Gill, midfielder Lucas Pitt, midfielder Kieran Morrison, and striker Fola Onanuga. In the 2022/23 season, all six players made their debuts for Liverpool’s under-18s.

Kornel Misciur, Louis Enahoro-Marcus, and Harry Evers will join the aforementioned players, as will Ben Trueman, Emmanuel Airoboma, and Clae Ewing.
Bridge-Wilkinson’s side began their preparations for the upcoming Premier League North season earlier this month with a 1-0 and 2-0 victory over Salford City at the AXA Training Centre.
More recently, the under-18s traveled to Northern Ireland to compete in the famous Super Cup Northern Ireland in 2023.
On Monday, Liverpool drew 1-1 with La Liga team Valencia thanks to a thunderbolt from forward Keyrol Figueroa. The young Reds will face Manchester United and Hertha Berlin in the coming days.
Second-year scholars with the under-18s will include Francis Gyimah, Trent Kone-Doherty, Jayden Danns and hot-shot Figueroa.
Speaking of his new intake of scholars ahead of this week’s trip to Belfast, Bridge-Wilkinson said: “As always we have got new players who have come in as they leave school and enter the world of football. It’s a great opportunity for them to come in and hit the ground running.
“Some of these boys played many games at U18 level last season so hopefully they will be a little more embedded into what we are doing than some of the groups previously.
