Liverpool and Manchester United have both been offered the opportunity to sign a player who had previously been on Jurgen Klopp’s radar for quite some time.
Last summer, the Reds’ transfer market was dominated by midfield moves. Five players left the midfield permanently, and four were brought in to fill their spots.
Klopp’s primary goal was to get a defensive midfielder, and Fabinho appears to be a significant loss. He eventually chose Wataru Endo, who ended up playing 29 Premier League games for the Reds last season.

However, the manager spent much of the summer window wooing Borussia Monchengladbach’s Manu Kone, with some reports stating in his home nation of France that he was virtually a Liverpool player by mid-June.
After failing to sign Kone last summer, the Reds now have another chance.
HITC reported that they have been offered the opportunity to sign him since he wishes to leave the Bundesliga club.
However, they are not alone; according to the source, a ‘host of teams’ will have the option to recruit the Frenchman this summer for a fee of under £20 million.
Along with Liverpool, Tottenham, Manchester United, and Fulham have been informed of Kone’s availability.
It is believed that all of those sides have watched the midfielder in action over the past 12 months. As such, after hearing his asking price, it’s suggested each club might be tempted into a move.
