Nurnberg have been contacted by Liverpool over Stefanos Tzimas’ summer transfer.
Chelsea, Brighton, and Aston Villa have expressed interest in the forward, who has eight goals in 15 Bundesliga 2 games this season. According to The Mirror, the Greek under-21 international has witnessed the Reds take action as they attempt to negotiate a contract.
Tzimas is now on loan from PAOK to Nurnberg, but the German team have the power to decide his future because they can exercise his €18 million (£15.2 million) buyout option. The striker’s quick departure is certain, though, as the Bavarian team are looking to make a quick profit.
Olaf Rebbe, the Sporting director, acknowledged that a move for Tzimas would be feasible before the end of the season.
