Liverpool are reportedly set for a showdown talks with Real Madrid midfielder, Aurelien Tchouameni ahead of securing his services next summer.
The Reds are said to take advantage of their UEFA Champions League clash against Los Blancos to approach the Frenchman over a possible switch to Anfield.
According to the Hard Tackle Liverpool are showing interest in Tchouameni. The Reds are keen to start talking to Real Madrid about the 24-year-old midfielder’s availability, as the Spanish giants may be willing to let him go next season.
Since making the big-money move from AS Monaco to Madrid in July 2022, Tchouameni has not really had a successful stint. The Frenchman, who has made an impression in the last two seasons, was signed by the defending La Liga champions after fierce competition from a number of European powerhouses, including Liverpool.
Even though the 24-year-old has played well for Madrid so far, he hasn’t established his authority. Tchouameni has made more than 100 appearances with Los Blancos, contributing three goals and five assists.

Tchouameni’s market value is still high, nevertheless, as a number of well-known teams are eager to sign him during the summer transfer window of 2025. One of the teams hoping to sign the France international next year is Liverpool.
