The West Ham boss is getting his team ready to meet the Gunners at the London Stadium on Saturday after they defeated Newcastle 2-0 on Monday.
Currently ranked fourth in the Premier League, Arsenal has only won half of its 12 games thus far this season.
In contrast, Liverpool has adapted well to life with Arne Slot as manager after Jurgen Klopp left.
They now lead the league with 10 victories from 12 games and are eight points ahead of second-place Manchester City, whom they will meet at Anfield on Sunday.
With five victories from five games, including their thrilling 2-0 triumph against champion Real Madrid on Wednesday night, the Reds are also leading the Champions League standings.
However, Lopetegui, who was suspended for receiving three yellow cards this season and will not be in the West Ham dugout on Saturday, thinks Arsenal is still a more dangerous club than Slot’s Reds, reports Standard
“The most important thing is the players on the pitch being ready to compete against,” said Lopetegui. “In my opinion, for sure [they are] the best team in the Premier League and one of the best teams around the world.
