Liverpool Duo Miss Training Ahead Of Bologna Clash

Liverpool forward, Diogo Jota is reportedly absent from training ahead of the Reds’ UEFA Champions League match against Bologna at Anfield.

Though, Arne Slot’s side have received a huge boost as Darwin Nunez is spotted participating in training exercise after sitting out the victory over Wolves on Saturday through illness.

Jota sat out training as a precaution, and according to Sky Sports as reported by Liverpool.com, his scan on a foot injury came back clear.

Although Nunez’s return implies that he might be fit for Wednesday’s match, so, there is no need to rush the Portugal international.

Meanwhile, Andy Robertson has continued his regular training. He appears to have fully recovered, which was to be expected since he assured reporters that he would be alright after taking a hit against Wolves. Joe Gomez replaced him at Molineux.

The only other player that Liverpool are missing at the moment is Harvey Elliott, who is anticipated to be out until the end of the month following an injury he sustained while away with England U21s in September.
